Mepilex® Transfer Ag is an antimicrobial exudate transfer layer that facilitates the movement of exudate to a secondary dressing. It is suitable for treating exuding burns as well as chronic and acute wounds.
The antimicrobial properties help reduce bioburden in the wound by inactivating relevant pathogens, including bacteria and fungi, within 30 minutes and up to 14 days. It also serves as an antimicrobial barrier for wounds at high risk of infection or re-infection.
Featuring Safetac® technology, Mepilex Transfer Ag adheres gently and minimizes pain during dressing changes.
