Stand Alone Floor Sensor Mat 900x600mm NO Interface Control

Floor Sensor Mat (900x600mm) is a reliable, robust and effective tool perfect for an Aged Care fall prevention program.
Manufactured from a heavy duty, easy clean vinyl with a textured slip reduction surface. The cable entry point is reinforced and moisture proof for a longer product life.
This medium sized sensor mat is designed to be placed on the floor at the side of the resident’s bed. The 4 metre cable connects to a SMI Sensor Mat Interface (refer to our other products for detail) which plugs directly into your nurse call system. If you already have an SMI interface they are re-usable/ interchangeable with these floor sensor mats.
Care and instructions are printed on the underside of each mat, for the ease of any staff member using the product on-site.

Place on the floor beside the bed where the resident will step on the mat when exiting their bed. Ensure the mat is flat on the floor. Connect the sensor mat and the sensor mat interface (Part No SMI). Plug sensor mat interface (SMI) into the nurse call system. Ensure all cabling is under the bed or secured to ensure it will not create a trip hazard. Switch the on the sensor mat using the on/off button located on the interface (SMI). Test the system is working by stepping onto the mat. The mat should activate the nurse call alarm as soon as pressure is applied. Reset the nurse call. Test regularly.
